BidBack: from proof-first animation to a real contractor follow-up app.
The path started as a proof-first animation and product engine: make the pain visible, test the hook, then turn the proof into something a person can actually use. BidBack came out of that loop. Contractors already do the hard part when they create the estimate. The app helps them stop losing work because the follow-up went cold.
Proof first
I began with the message: estimates are ghosting contractors. Short-form creative made the missed-follow-up problem obvious before the product had to explain itself.
Product second
The proof became a lightweight app: add estimates, track open value, see what needs a nudge, and copy follow-up scripts without turning it into another bloated CRM.
Tester loop
BidBack is set up for a free contractor beta with up to 25 active estimates, local saving, tester feedback, and the next path toward Pro features.

World of AZA
From static concept sheets to animated scene drafts.
This project tested a full visual development pipeline: lock the world, design persistent creature references, storyboard the emotional arc, then translate the panels into timed animated draft shots.
Visual DNA
Established the ancient hillside camp: dry gold hills, terracotta earth, sandstone slabs, thorn grass, campfire smoke, and a hand-painted 2D animation style.
Reference Control
Built multi-angle beetle, insect, Aza, and Kai reference sheets so anatomy, scale, and expression could stay consistent across scene generation.
Storyboard Arc
Mapped the 15-second sequence as a clean six-panel sheet, from quiet camp setup to the realization that the insects are watching.
Animated Drafts
Produced budget-friendly 480p motion tests: wide setup, beetle monitor, insect assembly, character reactions, command behavior, and the final surrounding swarm.
